The RNT incorporates a high-voltage tube circuit within the microphone body, a separate power supply sporting a discrete Class A amplifier circuit with the same custom op-amps as Rupert Neve Designs’ flagship 5088 mixing desk, two of Rupert’s custom transformers, and a custom sE mic capsule that delivers staggeringly high-bandwidth frequency response and enormous headroom. The Floor Box (power supply) gives you three gain settings and two switchable active highpass filters.
